For guest counts under 200, your celebration typically takes place in our Pavilion Tent, with rental fees beginning at $12,500. This includes access to the grounds and gardens for your ceremony and cocktail hour from 4:00pm–11:00pm.
For events over 200 guests, your event will take place in the Venetian Theater, with rental fees beginning at $40,000 for a three-day buyout. This includes a 7-hour rental period on your event day, plus 8-hour load-in and load-out days before and after. This package also includes access to the grounds and gardens, the Pavilion Tent, and Friends Field Stage.
Catering, equipment rentals, and additional services are contracted separately and are not included in the prices above.
Yes! Our standard rental period runs from 4:00pm–11:00pm, but Friday and Saturday events can be extended until midnight for an additional $2,000. Please note that music must end promptly at midnight in accordance with town ordinances.
Our venues are designed for celebrations in any weather!
For Pavilion Tent receptions, the Music Room serves as your included rain plan for ceremonies. Covered spaces within the Rosen House can also accommodate up to 150 guests for cocktails. For larger events, we recommend reserving an additional tent, which can be placed on Tapestry Hedge or Friends Field, to cover your ceremony and cocktail hour.
For Venetian Theater weddings, an additional tent may not be needed. The Pavilion Tent can serve as a covered ceremony space, while the Venetian Theater can be configured for both cocktails and dinner.
Yes! Caramoor has a backup generator that supports all rentable venues, ensuring your celebration continues, even during a power outage.
Yes, our grounds are equipped with free Wi-Fi that covers most event spaces for you, your guests, and your vendors. Additional secured networks can be arranged for A/V vendors upon request, and a service fee may apply.
Caramoor has a parking capacity that can accommodate up to 1,500 people. Most parking is on grassy fields near your venues, but hardscape accessible parking is also available. Golf carts may be rented to help your guests get around the property.
Yes, Caramoor has a built restroom with accessible stalls. No portable trailers needed!
Great Performances is Caramoor's exclusive catering partner, and we're proud to collaborate with them for both weddings and internal events. Great Performances will guide you through the menu and rental process, including a visit to their showroom to select linens, chairs, and tableware.
If your event requires specialty catering (such as Kosher or Indian cuisine), please reach out to discuss options as accommodations are available depending on your needs. For smaller private events, alternate caterers may also be available.
Vendors may arrive beginning at 10:00am on the day of your event, with load-out completed within one hour after your event concludes.
For Venetian Theater rentals, vendors can work 9:00am–5:00pm the day before and return the day after for load-out.
Extended setup or tear-down time may be available for an additional fee, depending on Caramoor's schedule.
Small items may be dropped off or stored onsite with prior approval from the Facility Rental Manager. Please note that Caramoor is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.
All of Caramoor's venues and pathways include standard safety lighting and you are welcome to bring in specialty lighting for added ambiance.
Pavilion Tent: Features dimmable string lighting to set the mood. Additional A/V or lighting must be provided by your vendors or band/DJ.
Venetian Theater: An in-house lighting package may be available for an additional fee, requiring the use of our Lighting Designer. Outside vendors may supplement additional lighting or sound equipment as needed.
Friends Field Stage: Includes built-in lighting for the covered area, plus floodlights that can illuminate the lawn.
Yes! We require planners for all weddings to ensure a smooth and well-organized experience.
Venetian Theater weddings: A full-service planner is required.
Pavilion Tent weddings: A month-of planner is the minimum requirement.
Once your planner is confirmed, our team will work directly with them on logistics, allowing you to decide how hands-on you would like to be. Your planner will also help coordinate insurance certificates, rain plans, and other key details to ensure everything runs flawlessly.
