Overview
We welcome you to Caramoor to explore our grounds, take a peek inside the Rosen House to preview this season’s Focus Tour, and trial out some of our Beyond the Music programs at this pre-season Open House. We are also eager to share insights into the summer season performances and help you pick out concert experiences that will excite the senses! Drop in for a while or stay all day. Here’s what’s in store:

Meet the friendly Caramoor staff who help make this place so vibrant and get recommendations for Summer Concerts and Events.
In the Music Room, sample some of our new teas that will be served this season at Afternoon Tea. See a selection of pieces on display for the Rosen House Focus Tour: Inside Lucie’s Wardrobe.
Kids can take the I Spy tour at the Rosen House or go on a scavenger hunt of the grounds, as well as make some musical crafts.
Open your ears and discover Sonic Innovations, Caramoor’s seasonal exhibition of sound art, displayed through the historic grounds. Learn more about the artworks here
The Herb Society of America New York Unit will be on hand with potted herbs to bring home for your gardens –it’s the perfect time to get planting!
Join Plein Air painters and Westchester Division of NYC Urban Sketchers as they capture the beauty of Caramoor on paper and share art materials so that you can do the same!

Beverages and light concessions will be available for purchase on site. Or pre-order a picnic to pick up on site – you provide the blanket, we prepare the meal!
