SiriusXM radio host Seth Rudetsky will take you on a journey featuring the greatest gay artists who helped create Broadway. You’ll enjoy an evening of fantastic Broadway songs, sung by Broadway stars Lauren Patten (Jagged Little Pill, Fun Home), Zachary Noah Piser (Redwood, Dear Evan Hansen) and Gay Willis (Phantom of the Opera, Showboat) with Seth at the piano, and get all the inside scoop on how gay people were intrinsically involved in so many Broadway classics.  Shows, songs, and stars from the Golden Age to today!

Meet the Artists

Seth Rudetsky

Seth Rudetsky is an American musician, actor, writer, and radio host. He is currently the host of Seth’s Big Fat Broadway and Seth Speaks on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s On Broadway. The show focuses on Rudetsky’s knowledge of Broadway theatre history and trivia.

Rudetsky was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, and began his musical training at a young age. He graduated from Oberlin Conservatory with a degree in Piano Performance. After graduating, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in music.

Rudetsky has worked as a pianist and musical director for a number of Broadway shows, including Ragtime, Les Misérables, and The Phantom of the Opera. He has also performed in a number of shows, including Forbidden Broadway and Disaster!.

In addition to his work on stage, Rudetsky is also a popular radio host. He has been hosting Seth’s Big Fat Broadway on Sirius/XM since 2009. The show features Rudetsky interviewing Broadway stars and sharing his insights on Broadway history and trivia.

Rudetsky is also a prolific writer. He has written a number of books, including Seth’s Broadway Diary: How I Went from Broadway Obsessed to Broadway Blessed and Broadway Nights: Backstage Secrets, Opening Nights, and Lessons Learned Along the Way.

Lauren Patten

Lauren Patten is an acclaimed actor and singer known for her powerhouse performances on stage and screen. She was the breakout star of Jagged Little Pill, the acclaimed Broadway show with music by Alanis Morissette. Her rendition of “You Oughta Know” earned her a mid-show standing ovation, and she won Tony, Grammy, and Drama Desk Awards for her performance. She made her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning musical Fun Home, and most recently starred off-Broadway in the original rock musical The Lonely Few (MCC, Lortel nomination). Other theatre credits include the off-Broadway productions of The Wolves (Drama Desk and Obie Awards) and Days of Rage, as well as the original Deaf West production of Spring Awakening in Los Angeles. She will appear in The Counterfeit Opera, a new musical adaptation of The Beggar’s Opera that opens Little Island’s summer season. On television, Lauren is known for her work as Rachel Witten on Blue Bloods (CBS). She starred in the Hulu murder mystery Death and Other Details, and is also featured on Succession (HBO) and The Good Fight (Paramount+).

As a musician, Lauren has performed at a variety of iconic New York venues, including Sony Hall, Tavern on the Green, Mercury Lounge, and Rockwood Music Hall. She has also held concerts at A.C.T. of CT in Ridgefield and the Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University. Her EP covers, featuring innovative arrangements of rock, soul, and pop classics, is available on all streaming platforms. She was featured on Rolling Stone’s website for her cover of Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman.” @pattenlauren

Gay Willis

Award-winning soprano Gay Willis is best known for her starring roles as Magnolia in Hal Prince’s Showboat and Christine Daae in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera. Gay won critical acclaim in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber World Tour with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. Her moving performances of Pie Jesu (Requiem) received rave reviews. She went on to star as Christine Daae opposite Colm Wilkinson in Phantom of the Opera.

Gay received the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress for her portal of Magnolia Ravenal in Hal Prince’s Tony Award winning revival of Showboat on Broadway, Chicago, and on tour completing over 1000 performances. She got to share the stage with legends Cloris Leachman, Anita Gilette, Elaine Stritch, Dorothy Loudon, Marilyn McCoo, Dick and Joyce Van Patten, Pat Harrington, John McMartin, and Dean Jones. Willis’ Magnolia ages from bubbly ingenue to knowing matron and mother with great finesse and a strong emotional edge”. Variety. Other roles include Rapunzel in Into the Woods 1st National Tour w/ Cleo Laine, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance (Carbonell Best Actress Award), Maria West Side Story, Bloomer Girl at City Center, 4 sold out concerts at Carnegie Hall with the PBS special From Galway to Broadway ,SO MANY benefit concerts with Seth Rudetsky!, Funny Girl, Nothing Like a Dame (raves from Liz Smith NY Post), Stars in the House, Concert for America with Barry Manilow, Westbury Music Fair… and most recently Madame (Evil Step Mother) in Cinderella at Theatre By the Sea!

Zachary Noah Piser 

Zachary Noah Piser (he/him) is a Hapa, Jewish actor based in New York City. A 2025 Drama Desk nominee, Zach just finished his run as Spencer in Redwood on Broadway, starring opposite Idina Menzel. Previously, he’s been seen on Broadway in Dear Evan Hansen (Evan), KPOP (Brad, OBC), and Wicked (Boq). Off-Broadway: See What I Wanna See (OOTB Theatrics), Sweeney Todd (Barrow Street Theatre, West End transfer). Film/TV: In Your Dreams (Netflix), Host of PBS’s “Camp TV” series (2x Kidscreen Award nominated), in addition to voicing feature films including Mean Girls and Snow White. Zach is a Bay Area native, and a Northwestern grad. @zach_piser


Summer Season Shuttle / Take the FREE shuttle from Metro North’s Katonah train station to and from Caramoor! The shuttle runs before and after every summer afternoon and evening concert. No need to RSVP to get on the shuttle, it will be there when you arrive (in the parking lot side of the station). And if it’s not there, that means that it just left and will be back in 5-10 minutes!

Rain or Shine / All events at Caramoor take place rain or shine. If there is dangerous weather, we will move all concerts under our Venetian Theater tent.
