Ever since being told when he was a child that his blindness meant that “you can’t do this, you can’t do that,” Raul Midón has lived a life devoted to beating the odds and shattering stereotypes. Midón has an incredible signature combination of silky voice and percussive guitar, which has led this soulful singer/songwriter to release 11 studio albums, two of which have been nominated for a Grammy Award. Raul Midón doesn’t need to be labeled by genre; he simply sings with his soul, connecting with audiences far and wide.
