Our Kids & Families events encourage learning, interaction, and fun for kids of all ages! From family-focused events at festival days to concerts geared to young music fans and our newly refreshed Concerts on the Lawn, there is plenty of discovery to be had at Caramoor.
Most Caramoor concert tickets are 50% off for those under 18 years of age. This offer is not available for top-tier ticket prices, for benefit events, and for select concerts.
The grounds will be open for exploring and picnicking, for free, from June 5 – August 20 / Wed – Sun / 10:00am – 4:00pm.

In this special sensory-friendly program, musician, storyteller, and educator Reggie Harris brings an uplifting concert of songs and stories about the Underground Railroad, one of the most important chapters in American History. Join us for this program celebrating the quest for freedom and holiday joy, as Harris shares how the winter holidays offered a moment of hope — and a rare opportunity to escape — for enslaved people.
This performance is specially designed for families and people of any age who are neurodivergent, have sensory sensitivities, or just need a bit more space to enjoy the music. Modifications include relaxed house rules, reduced volume and lighting levels, and extra space for movement.

Elena Moon Park and Friends

Join us on Friends Field (outdoors) for a voyage to East Asia and around the globe as multi-instrumentalist Elena Moon Park and guests perform reimagined children’s music, folk songs, and original tunes in a variety of languages. Expect to sing, dance, and clap along to northern Japanese sea shanties, Tibetan jump rope rhymes, Taiwanese train songs, lullabies in English, and many other unique songs.

Although these concerts are not necessarily geared toward families, they are located on our grassy and expansive open-air Friends Field, which is a great place to bring the family for a picnic.
