Our Kids & Families events encourage learning, interaction, and fun for kids of all ages! From family-focused events at festival days to concerts geared to young music fans and our newly refreshed Concerts on the Lawn, there is plenty of discovery to be had at Caramoor.
Most Caramoor concert tickets are 50% off for those under 18 years of age. This offer is unavailable for top-tier ticket prices, benefit events, and select concerts.
Our grounds are open for picnicking, walking, and exploring the sound art!

Schwab Vocal Rising Stars (Free for students 18 and under)
In this mentoring program, Artistic Director Steven Blier selects four young singers and a pianist for a week-long residency at Caramoor. The week includes daily coaching, rehearsals, and workshops, culminating in this performance entitled Mediterranean — a musical voyage around the Mediterranean Sea, with stops in Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Egypt, and Tunisia.

Elena Moon Park & Friends
Join us on Friends Field (outdoors) for a voyage to East Asia and around the globe as multi-instrumentalist Elena Moon Park and guests perform reimagined children’s music, folk songs, and original tunes in a variety of languages. Expect to sing, dance, and clap along to northern Japanese sea shanties, Tibetan jump rope rhymes, Taiwanese train songs, lullabies in English, and many other unique songs.

Gotta Swing!
Bring the kids and join the Eyal Vilner Swing Band and dancers for a fun show that will explore the rich history of this uniquely American art form.

Pops & Patriots
Celebrate Independence Day at Caramoor!
The Westchester Symphonic Winds join us for their annual tribute to America’s independence with a program that includes The Star-Spangled Banner, Sousa’s The Stars and Stripes Forever, and a Broadway medley performed by alumni of our Schwab Vocal Rising Stars program.
NEW SERIES: CONCERTS FOR LITTLE ONES
Movement and musical discovery take flight in this new series for the littlest Caramoor attendees. Located in our flexible and accessible Education Center, this program geared for children ages 2–6 (and their caregivers) brings in world-class artists who will invite children to sing, wiggle, and dance to diverse styles of music.

Bassoonist Alexander Davis, one of Caramoor’s teaching artists, introduces our smallest audience members to his colorful, beautiful woodwind instrument. Alexander brings along his friends as they explore the many facets of the world of music!

Alphonso Horne & Friends
Introduce your littlest music lovers to the story of jazz as two-time Grammy-nominated trumpeter Alphonso Horne transports them to New Orleans and back! After they jam out and boogey all morning long, nap-time will be a breeze.
