Join us for an exceptional benefit concert to celebrate and support Caramoor’s programming throughout the year.
Your support helps us fulfill mission-related programs from showcasing dynamic new artists to displaying engaging sound art in our natural setting to celebrating cultural traditions on fun family days.
Stay a while after the show for a wine and dessert reception to commune with other fans who also lead an art-filled life!
Josh Ritter is a singer / songwriter who has been compared to the likes of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen by critics and fans alike. He is known for his Americana style and narrative storytelling, and was named one of Paste magazine’s “100 Greatest Living Songwriters.” This acoustic solo performance in the Music Room is part of his tour of intimate venues where he hopes to form a deeper connection with audiences.
“I want my first set of shows in a year and a half to be in places that will allow me to sing some of the stranger, quieter, more narrative songs that I may not always get to at a rock show,” Ritter said in a statement. “I want the venues to be special and beautiful … Finally, I want to perform again, stomp the dust off, see what new appendages and teeth and claws have grown from this time in the wilderness, see what joy can come from sorrow and what tears can come from joy.”
We are honored to be one of Ritter’s selected venues for his return to live performances. We hope you’ll join us to experience what new music emerges from his time of reflection.
All but $70 of each ticket is tax-deductible.
