About the Chef, Mike Bagale
Mike Bagale is the chef/partner of New York’s Sip & Guzzle, named 5th best bar in North America 2025 from the World’s 50 Best Bars. Under Mike’s operational and culinary leadership, Sip & Guzzle was likewise named a 2025 James Beard Award semi-finalist. Mike is also the founder of creative culinary consulting group Super Food Concepts. Prior, Mike served as the executive chef of Chicago fine dining institution, Alinea. During his eight-year tenure, the restaurant maintained three Michelin stars, and at its peak placed 6th best on the esteemed World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. In 2012, Mike became the first person in history to create floating food with Alinea’s famous edible green apple balloon. Though Mike is classically trained in French cuisine, his style and technique reflect inspiration from Japan, Mexico, and Thailand.

About the Performance, Stephane Wrembel Quartet
Stephane Wrembel is one of the most highly regarded guitarists in the world, specializing in the style of legendary composer/guitarist Django Reinhardt, a craft he learned among the great Roma musicians at campsites in the French countryside. This prolific musician, composer, educator, and musical director has released a steady stream of music since 2002, truly making his mark as one of the most original guitar voices in contemporary music. And while Wrembel is now considered one of the preeminent master guitarists in the world specialized in the Django Reinhardt style, he revels in transcending and expanding. His music incorporates jazz, blues, classical, swing, flamenco and rock.
“Perhaps the most creative improviser in Gypsy jazz today, Mr. Wrembel plays the guitar with a rich and colorful lyricism.” — New York Times

About the Viticulturist, Pepe Reventós
Dynamic, energetic and a lover of the world of wine and viticulture, Pepe Raventós joined Raventós i Blanc in 2001, but his association with the world of cava goes back to when he was young and spent his summers picking grapes at Sant Sadurní, where twenty-one generations of his family have lived since the end of the 15th century.
His life has been marked by social work, but above all by wine. From a very young age, he spent hours working in the fields at Saint Émilion, learning to produce red wine. He gained experience in producing wine with Didier Dagueneau in the Pouilly-Fumé AOC in the Loire Valley; Nicolas Chiquet in Dizy in the Champagne wine region, and Jean-Patrick Merignac in Saint Philippe d’Aiguille in Bordeaux.
