Joyous, heartfelt, and wonderfully clever, George Hinchliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is a group of all-singing, all-strumming ukulele players who have become world-famous for their unexpected interpretations of film scores and rock ‘n’ roll. The seven-person ensemble sits in a chamber group format dressed in formal evening wear and presents programs of “the pompous and the trivial, the moving, and the amusing” (The Guardian).
