Join us for this installment of Rosen House Studio Nights: Art & Aperitifs, featuring autumn-inspired watercolor painting. Settle into the Rosen House Formal Dining Room and create a watercolor still life inspired by a curated arrangement of objects from the house, complemented by seasonal fall foliage. Guided by professional painter Kristen Lowe, you’ll explore watercolor techniques while capturing the colors, textures, and character of autumn. Watercolors, brushes, paper, and all other materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Kristen Lowe is a New York–based ceramicist and painter, she holds a BFA and an MS in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute and teaches art at John Jay High School in Katonah, NY. Her work blends classical painting techniques with contemporary approaches, exploring the connections between people, place, and history.
