Join husband and wife duo Blanca Cecilia González and Jesse Elder for a playful exploration of Spanish and English music and song. This program combines music, language, and culture into a joyful celebration.
Movement and musical discovery take flight in this new series for the littlest Caramoor attendees. Located in our flexible and accessible Education Center, this program geared for children ages 2–6 (and their caregivers) brings in world-class artists who will invite children to sing, wiggle, and dance to diverse styles of music.
This performance welcomes children who are neurodivergent, have sensory sensitivities, or just need a bit more space to enjoy the music. Modifications include relaxed house rules, and extra space for movement.

Husband and wife duo Blanca Cecilia González and Jesse Elder have created Musiquita, a playful exploration of music in Spanish and English. The duo performs original compositions as well as classical, jazz, Latin folk, children’s classics, and popular music styles. As a bilingual Spanish-English family with two young children, González and Elder make learning engaging and enjoyable. Sharing their own experiences in a relaxed and supportive environment, they present easy ways to incorporate other cultures into everyday life. Together, they inspire children and big people alike to sing, dance, and move along with them as they navigate their way through a diverse musical landscape. González holds a Master of Music Degree from The Juilliard School, and Elder is the former Music Director of Postmodern Jukebox.
