Overview

Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 7:00pm

We regret to inform you that, due to an injury, Upstate will no longer perform this evening, Wednesday, August 17. Here is a note from band member Melanie Glenn:

Hello! It’s Melanie from Upstate. We, unfortunately, will not be able to perform at Caramoor this Wednesday. I broke my foot and the break is bad enough to need surgery. As Harry has said before, “Healing’s just the hardest thing to do.” We look forward to seeing all of you soon at another show in the future. Thank you for supporting us!

In their place, we welcome Cole Quest and The City Pickers, who will perform on Friends Field at 7:00pm.

If you already had tickets for Upstate, please check your email for ticket options. Upstate ticket buyers who want to attend Cole Quest and The City Pickers do not need to take any further action.

Cole Quest and The City Pickers are a group of New York City musicians connected by friendship and a love of bluegrass. Cole Quest, grandson of the folk icon Woody Guthrie, has brought together a collection of eclectic pickers who have gained recognition on the local scene. Performing both Quest’s original tunes as well as traditional favorites, The City Pickers bring their special brand of high-spirited talent to the stage, with up-beat, knee-slapping energy, and a high lonesome sound that’ll leave you wanting more.

Please bring your own seating for this concert, as it takes place on our grassy Friends Field. You can even bring or purchase a picnic dinner!
