Cancellation Notice

Unfortunately, due to travel and visa complications, Calmus has been unable to travel to the U.S. and has to cancel this weekend’s concert at Caramoor:

“Calmus regrets to have to cancel their US tour due to ongoing issues with obtaining their visa but looks forward to coming to the states in the future for meaningful performances.”

We are able to refund your tickets in one of two ways

  • Back to your original payment method or via check, or
  • Crediting your Caramoor account, allowing you to use the balance towards future concerts

You may also convert the value of your tickets into a tax-deductible donation to Caramoor.

**Ticket Buyers: Please check your email to let us know which option you prefer**

Winner of the 2009 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, the German a cappella vocal ensemble Calmus is known for its charming stage presence and flawless technique. Founded in 1999, the quintet embodies the rich choral tradition of its hometown of Leipzig, the city so closely associated with Bach and Mendelssohn. As the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel characterizes the group: “The singers bring tremendous character and musical depth to their interpretations … that transcends the language of the lyrics.” Calmus’ holiday program ranges from early music to contemporary Christmas favorites.

Select rooms of the Rosen House, splendidly decorated for the holidays, will be open for viewing one hour prior to each performance.
