By Car from I-684
Take I-684 to Exit 6 (Katonah). Go east on Route 35 to the traffic light (.3 mile). Turn right onto Route 22 south, and travel 1.9 miles (past the Katonah Museum of Art, the Harvey School, and the John Jay Homestead) to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road where you’ll see a green Caramoor sign. At the junction, veer left and make a quick right onto Girdle Ridge Road. Continue on Girdle Ridge Road 0.5 miles to the Caramoor gates on the right. Detailed driving directions from other locations are below.
By Train & Caramoor Free Shuttle
Take the Harlem Line of the Metro-North Railroad to Katonah Station. Caramoor is a 3.5-mile drive from the Katonah station, and we do not recommend walking from the train station, there are no sidewalks, and it is a windy road with many blind turns.
Summer Season Shuttle / Take the FREE shuttle from Metro North’s Katonah train station to and from Caramoor! The shuttle runs before and after every summer afternoon and evening concert. There is no RSVP to get on the shuttle, it will be there when you arrive (in the parking lot side of the station). If it’s not there, it’s just making the loop and should be back within 5–10 minutes. The shuttle will start running 2.5 hours before the concert, and 30 minutes after the concert ends.
Taxi Service
Car service from the Katonah Train Station to Caramoor (5 minutes away) is available by calling Katonah Taxi at 914.232.5772. Be sure to book a round-trip ride with the taxi or car service company if you’ll be returning to the train station, as cell service is spotty at Caramoor, and it might not be entirely easy to make a phone call to the taxi service post-show. We do not recommend using Uber or Lyft as it is simply just not popularly serviced in the area.
