Get in the holiday spirit at Caramoor’s historic Rosen House! Enjoy charismatic musicians, festive decorations, and tea service in the majestic Music Room. Following the spirited performance, the tea service includes an assortment of finger sandwiches, scrumptious holiday treats, and a variety of teas (or hot chocolate with marshmallows for children!). This program is popular and dates quickly fill up.

Self-Guided Rosen House Tours (included with ticket) / Following the tea, you will also have a chance to visit select rooms of the Rosen House starting at 4:00pm, until 5:00pm. The rooms showcase fine examples of decorative arts from Europe and China including jade, porcelain, and textiles that the Rosens admired and collected, and will also be decked out for the holidays with enchanting decorations inspired by the Rosen family archive.
Docent-Guided Holiday Rosen House Tours (additional fees may apply) / Preceding the tea, you are invited to step into a holiday wonderland! Join us for a special tour of the art-filled Rosen House, decked out with enchanting decorations inspired by the cherished Rosen family archive. Docent-led Holiday Tours are available by appointment only; they tend to fill up quickly, so be sure to book in advance by clicking here or calling the Box Office at 914.232.1252. Advanced Registration Required. Docent-led Holiday Tours are free for Members and Children 18 and Under.

About the Artists
Kate Morton, mezzo-soprano
Kate Morton, mezzo-soprano, is an artist and performer from the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York City where she received a Master of Music in Vocal Arts while under the tutelage of Mr. Kevin Short.
She joined Opera Saratoga as a 2025 festival artist in their productions of She Loves Me (Ilona Ritter) and La vie Parisienne (Madame de Folle-Verdure.) Morton also performed at Caramoor as a Schwab Vocal Rising Star in Beginner’s Luck: The Artist’s Journey with Steven Blier and Bénédicte Jourdois. In Juilliard’s 2024/25 season, Morton was a soloist with New York Festival of Song’s Take Care of this House: Songs for America, curated by NYFOS Artistic Director Steven Blier. She also performed in L’enfant et les Sortilèges (La Chatte/L’Ecureuil) at Alice Tully Hall and the mainstage production of Dialogues des Carmelites (Sœur Mathilde).

Michele Wong, piano
Michele Wong is a NYC-based collaborative pianist with a passion for bringing innovative musical storytelling to a diverse range of audiences.
A versatile performer in both vocal and instrumental chamber repertoire, musicians she has worked with include winners and finalists of competitions such as the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, the Seoul International Music Competition, the Gerda Lissner Competition, members of studio of the Dutch national opera, Opera Philadelphia, LA Opera, and the Opéra national de Paris, as well as members of the Juilliard and Escher string quartets, and Sybarite5. Just as passionate about new music as she is about standard repertoire, Michele has also worked with several leading composers of today on performances of their works, including John Harbison, Ben Moore, and Jake Heggie, among others. In addition to performances in some of the most prestigious venues in the U.S., including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the San Francisco Conservatory, the Kaufman Center, the Bienen School of Music, University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, and Bruno Walter Auditorium, she has also performed internationally in St. Petersburg, Russia at the Alexander Nevsky Lavra and the Museum of Theater and Music, as well as the Haus der Kunst and Heiligenkreuz Abbey in Austria.
