Events for the whole family.
Our Kids & Families events encourage learning, interaction, and fun for kids of all ages! From family-focused events at festival days to concerts geared to young music fans and our newly refreshed Concerts on the Lawn, there is plenty of discovery to be had at Caramoor.
Concert tickets during the fall-spring are 50% off for those under 18 years of age. This offer is not available for top-tier ticket prices, and for benefit events.
Our grounds are closed for the season.
Unless you have tickets to a concert, our grounds are no longer open for picnicking and exploring until the spring. Please stay tuned to our website and social media for any updates.
Upcoming Family-Friendly Events
We have one more upcoming family event happening in the spring! You can always call our Box Office at 914.232.1252 for more information, but act fast, as these events are popular and tend to sell out.
Upcoming Mentoring Showcase Events
Our Evnin Rising Stars and Schwab Vocal Rising Stars concerts are annual events where we invite up-and-coming musicians to spend a week at Caramoor, rehearsing with distinguished mentors. At the end of the week, they perform a beautiful concert, showcasing what they worked on. We hope that these concerts inspire the next generation of young musicians, which is why these concerts are FREE for those 18 and under.
Upcoming Ernst Stiefel String Quartet-in-Residence Events
The 2020-22 Ernst Stiefel String Quartet-in-Residence is the Callisto Quartet! As a part of their residency, the Quartet plays one concert each season, as well as works with many different schools nearby to mentor young orchestra students. We hope that these concerts inspire the next generation of young musicians, which is why these concerts are FREE for those 18 and under.
Upcoming Tea Outings
Afternoon Teas are definitely family-friendly! Tap the orange button below to choose a date to come to tea: May 6, 13, 20, 27 & June 3, 10
Catching you up on Summer 2021
During the 2021 Summer Season, we offered Garden Listening, where audience members were able to spread out on Friends Field while listening to that afternoon’s concert. It was a great alternative for families and those wishing to spend time outdoors while having the flexibility to eat, talk, and listen to music. We also had our annual Roots and Jazz Festival days, as well as casual Concerts on the Lawn, hosted on our brand new Friends Field stage, which we saw many families attend.
In the meantime…
Check out this family-oriented livestream concert which we premiered during the summer of 2020!
